In the world of manufacturing there is growing demand for good to be made using recycled plastics. The process of turning used plastics in to new raw material involves complicated collection, sorting, screening, washing and then finally melting and extruding into new polymer granules.
The final step before pelletising is to pump the molten polymer through a very fine filtration process. These filters use special screens with tiny holes in them, down to 120 microns diameter, which catch any residual contamination and remove it from the polymer melt.
The filter screen are made of 316 Stainless Steel, and the apertures in them are so fine that they need to be cut using lasers – hence the term “laser filter”.
Our laser filters are available on short lead times and at a significantly reduced cost compared to the OEM filters.
With tight tolerances on the screen holes, and robust designs, our filters are accurate, strong, and long-lasting.
In fact, we would go so far as to say that we believe our quality is second to none in the marketplace.
We make filters that are compatible with a number of leading melt filter machines, such as Fimic, Erema, Maas, and so on.
We make make these in many different formats and with many different hole sizes for each, from 120 microns up to 500 microns
